Appeal To Trace Victim Of Louis Vuitton Bag Robbery, Leeds

Detectives investigating a street robbery in Leeds where a Louis Vuitton bag was stolen are appealing to trace the victim following the arrest of three suspects.

At 6.45pm yesterday (May 1), police were alerted by LeedsWatch CCTV to the incident in Briggate in the city centre.

Officers responded and detained three 17-year-old males on suspicion of robbery. They remain in custody.

The victim’s Louis Vuitton bag (pictured) was recovered nearby but the contents had been discarded and there was nothing to identify the victim, who had left the scene before officers arrived.

He was described as an Asian male, aged in his early twenties, slim build, with black hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing glasses, a black top and grey jeans.

Detectives from Leeds District Crime Team are keen to trace the victim as they continue to progress the investigation.
