Liverpool blow as Trent Alexander-Arnold RULED OUT of Carabao Cup final vs Chelsea after aggravating knee injury

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD has reportedly been ruled out of the Carabao Cup final.

The Liverpool star is set to miss the clash against Chelsea after aggravating his knee injury.

Alexander-Arnold played 46 minutes in Liverpool’s win over Burnley on the weekend.

However, the defender was replaced by Harvey Elliot by manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Times have now reported that the England international will miss the Carabao Cup final after he aggravated his knee injury.

The final takes place at Wembley Stadium on February 25 and will be the Reds’ first opportunity for silverware this season.

Alexander-Arnold will also miss Premier League fixtures against Brentford and Luton Town.
