River Esk: Three off-road drivers who died in submerged 4×4 which was ‘swept away by swollen river’ in Yorkshire named
Scott Thomas Daddy, from Hull, Leslie Forbes, from the East Yorkshire area, and Kenneth Patrick Hibbins, known as Patrick, from York died in the incident on Thursday, North Yorkshire Police said.
A man has told how he tried to save the three men trapped in the submerged 4×4 said they were “swept away” as they attempted to cross the river.
