A busy A-road has been closed off following a crash involving multiple vehicles.

Emergency crews are at the scene of the collision on the A21 Sevenoaks bypass.

The road is shut northbound between the A225 at Morleys Roundabout and the A25 for Sevenoaks.

National Highways says its traffic officers are also at the scene and vehicle recovery has been organised.

It adds there is a large fuel spillage to clear.

Delays of up to 45 minutes are being reported.

Traffic is being diverted along the A225, A224 and A25, to rejoin the A21 near Chipstead.

Police have been asked for more information.
