One lane on a major road was blocked following a collision.

Motorists travelling coastbound on the A2 in Canterbury were facing delays following the incident, which involved two vehicles.

Traffic between Harbledown and the Patrixbourne turn-off was affected.

A witness reported that police and ambulance crews were in attendance just before 1pm.

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
