Keeping an eye on your home has become more accessible thanks to companies like Eufy, which offers a wide range of high-quality and affordable tech items.

Eufy’s security expertise seems to be a popular competitor in the home security field, as I spotted the home security camera at the number four spot in Amazon’s movers and shakers list – the most popular items in the last 24 hours.

Whether it’s to watch over your prized car or just for that extra peace of mind, adding a security camera to the outside of your house could make you feel a lot more secure.

The Eufy security camera has a 2K resolution, so you’ll never have to worry about trying to make out blurry ‘have you seen this person’ images.

Some services, like Blink, require a subscription or membership to store your recordings, but fortunately, the camera holds three months’ worth of recording storage, so your video stays yours and private.

The camera also comes with built-in AI detection, so you’ll only be notified when people are detected instead of it going off every time a cat runs through the garden.

If you’ve long been a fan of Amazon’s own devices, such as the Echo Pop, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s also Alexa-compatible, so it’ll fit right in.

Simply say, ‘Alexa, show me the Eufy security camera’, and it’ll display the feed on the screen of the device. This does mean you’ll need something like the Echo Show or Amazon Alexa device with a screen.

In terms of extra security, Eufy’s security camera seems to be a big hit with shoppers, as it has a fantastic 4.5-star rating and quite a few positive reviews.

One Amazon shopper praises it for having a ‘fantastic picture and keeps me up to date with everything.’

Another notes that it is ‘so simple to install, very neat and discreet, no wiring, super clear images, and very competitively priced’.
