Man from Keighley Jailed for Sexual Offences

A man from Keighley has been jailed for a series of sexual offences.  

Aiden Whittingham, 20 of Whinfield Avenue was found guilty after a trial of offences including making and possessing indecent images of a child, voyeurism and sexual activity with a child.  

He was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court today (29 April) to 5 years he was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Detective Constable Paul Maxwell from the Child Vulnerable to Exploitation Team in Bradford said:

“We welcome the sentence handed down to Whittingham today. He is a danger to children.

“I would like to praise the bravery of the victims in coming forward and reporting these crimes to us.  

“Offences of this nature are always taken very seriously, and we have a dedicated specialist safeguarding team who will support victims to get them justice.”
