Police are appealing for information to locate missing Valerie Teale from Walton in Wakefield. 

Valerie (67) was reported missing from her home on Friday evening (26th April) and a number of enquiries have been ongoing to locate her.

She is described as white, 5ft 4ins to 5ft 5ins tall with grey hair and is believed to be wearing a beige coat, long skirt and black shoes.

The 67-year-old can sometimes travel on canals towards Wintersett and Cold Heindley and police are conducting enquiries in those locations and elsewhere in Wakefield District for her.  She was pictured on CCTV walking on Shay Lane on Friday at 11.38am.

Officers are concerned for Valerie’s wellbeing and would ask anyone who sees her to contact Wakefield Police on 101 referencing police log 1417 of April 26
