My holiday was ruined by guests smoking drugs and having sex in the pool
HOTEL guests had sex in the pool and openly smoked drugs in full view of British families.
One woman was spotted frolicking with five other guests at the swim-up bar.
Other drunken revellers relieved themselves or were sick in the pool.
NHS worker Alan Stevens, 50, spent £3,000 on a 17-day stay with wife Sarah, 49, at the five-star Riu República hotel in the Dominican Republic.
He said: “It was the worst experience of our lives.
“My wife cried so much at the things we saw.
“There was a constant smell of drugs with people offering us weed the whole time.
“People were defecating, urinating and being sick in the pool.
“The place was hell on earth.
“It was just a 24-hour party hotel with Americans just going wild.
“We booked our break with Tui and two of the reps quit while we were there because there were so many complaints.
“There was even a suspected murder.”
Alan is demanding compensation from Tui, which has been approached for comment.
