Police are appealing for information to help trace a 15-year-old girl from Pontefract who has gone missing.

Leah Cobb was reported missing on Tuesday (23/2) and enquiries have been ongoing to trace her since then.

She is described as white, with long purple hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue bottoms and blue shoes. She has links to both the Leeds and Wakefield areas.

Detective Inspector Tom Hilyer, of Wakefield District CID, said: “We are concerned for Leah’s welfare, given her age and how long she has now been missing, and urgently need to hear from anyone who has seen her or who has any information that could assist in locating her.”
