A road has been closed after emergency services were seen rushing to an incident.

Police, ambulance, and fire crews are all present in Tontine Street, Folkestone.

The incident appears to be coming from a set of flats above a bar, according to unconfirmed reports.

Bus company Stagecoach confirmed its services are affected by the closure.

Dover-bound services which use the route are being diverted via The Health Centre and Grove Road, the operator said.

Towards Folkestone, buses are taking the Canterbury Road and Black Bull Road as diversions.

The emergency services have been asked for more information.
