Southeastern trains delayed in Yalding and Aylesford following signalling faults
Trains have been delayed on a busy line due to signalling problems.
Southeastern posted to say that services at Yalding and Aylesford have been affected as separate faults have been found at both locations.
In Yalding, there is a problem with the level crossing while Aylesford is reported to have an issue with its signalling equipment.
Staff are at both locations at the moment in a bid to solve the problems.
The most recent update from the rail company said: “Response staff is on-site to work to fix the level crossing at Yalding and signalling problem at Aylesford.
“Trains are still being delayed by up to eight minutes at both locations until the faults can be fixed.”
