Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident where a machete was brandished in a McDonalds in Leeds.

Officers are keen to trace anyone who witnessed the domestic-related incident that occurred on the busy first floor of the restaurant in Briggate at about 4.20pm on Thursday, November 25.

A man has been arrested and charged with affray, possession of a bladed article in a public place and witness intimidation in relation to the incident. The case is currently progressing through court.
