A brothel run from a Dorset village was uncovered by police after a client collapsed, leading a woman who helped run the premises to ring 999.

Christy Norman, 70, was forced to call the emergency services after finding the male customer on the floor.

Several escort girls and a manager fled the suburban property near Bournemouth, in Dorset, before the police arrived, a court heard.

Norman carried out CPR on the unnamed man before paramedics took over, but he could not be saved.

When police arrived, they quickly established the terraced house was being used as a brothel after finding underwear, sex toys and an S and M harness bolted to the ceiling of one of the bedrooms.

Norman claimed she was merely the cleaner and had nothing to do with the running of the brothel, called Bunnie’s Ranch, which charged customers up to £130 an hour. She later said her role was to sort out any problems the escorts had with customers.

But police established she was more involved with the operation after they discovered she had kept financial records

Norman had kept records of what the girls offered, the dates they saw clients, how much they earned and the nationality of the customers, magistrates were told.
