On the 21st on july 2019, 2 months of solid work by the whole team came to an end when we finally caught Andy Jeenes. A prolific offender towards our decoys, he gave Linda decoy and Kimberley decoy a worrying and frustrating time. Andy had obsessions with being pushed and pulled in a bicycle trailer and often talked about watching the 11 year old decoys bottom while it was on the seat. He spoke to the decoy about shoving her into a van and dump her body in the woods. His chat kept a lot of us up with worry and he was so difficult to track,

The team travelled down to Cheltenham on the 21st of july 2019, we had a sting already planned for that morning and we knew that Jeenes had some connections with the Cheltenham area. We spent the afternoon checking out various leads and at this time the decoys were still speaking to him. It was only at 7pm when we were given a photo from Jeenes that gave us the breakthrough we had been praying for. A positive ID on his area and we were literally minutes away. The team jumped into their cars and travelled to the location. Once we got there we knocked on his door but Andy wasn’t in, so we hung around until he arrived. He turned up about half hour later on the bike he had sent images of to the decoy, when the approached him but he got startled and ran off into the house. We managed to coax him to the door so we could then ask him about his online activity.

Andy Jeenes admitted everything, the police were called and he was quickly arrested, it brought and end to the intense search of this sexual predator.  We knew of other teams that had this guy but he had told them he was 15 and many decided to block him, but we kept the chat going to find errors in his chat, which we did. All we had to go on was the profile picture of his facebook account, which we managed to get so much from.
