AFC Wimbledon vs Hull City live from Plough Lane; Tigers need wins to keep promotion hopes alive

News Hour

Welcome to live coverage of Hull City’s first ever trip to AFC Wimbledon’s new Plough Lane stadium.

We’re live in the capital to see if Grant McCann’s Tigers can record a league double over The Dons and reignite their stuttering hunt for automatic promotion.

Having found themselves 3-1 up at Doncaster last Saturday midway through the game, City were on course to remain inside the top two.

McCann’s men conspired to draw 3-3 with Rovers scoring a dramatic free-kick deep into injury time to salvage a point, before Tuesday night’s 1-0 home loss to Ipswich turned up the heat on McCann and his players.

Struggling Wimbledon had won just once at their new stadium since December 2nd – when they beat Peterborough – until Tuesday night when Jack Rudoni struck an 89th minute winner.

We’ll bring you all the build-up to the 3pm kick-off followed by all the reaction from the manager.
