Appeal After Man Stabbed, Easterly Road, Leeds.

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in an incident in Leeds.

At 1.33pm yesterday (26/2) police were contacted by the family of a 37-year-old man who were taking him to hospital after he attended their address in Gipton Wood Avenue with stab wounds.

Officers spoke to the victim who reported being assaulted by a black male who approached him in Easterly Road, near the junction with Amberton Road.

His injuries were considered serious but not life threatening and he is continuing to receive treatment.

A scene was put in place to undergo forensic examination and enquiries are ongoing.
