Families across the UK within Tier 2 and Tier 3 restrictions are being urged not to go out trick or treating as the number of Covid-19 cases contiunes to rise.

The warning comes as Halloween approaches and warns against going door to door trick or treating.

Some may think it could be safer simply leaving a communal bowl on the door step but this is also advised against to reduce to spread of coronavirus.

For those in Tier 2 this means people should not socialise indoors with anyone outside their household or support bubble.

but allows for people to follow the ‘rule of six’ and observe social distancing.

With Tier 3 allowing for household mixing indoors or outdoors. But you could still have fun in your own households and gardens.
