Dealys on the M20 have now cleared after a car and a van crashed earlier this morning.

A collision between the vehicles caused queues in the London-bound direction between junction nine (A20 Fougeres Way) and junction eight (A20 Ashford Road).

One lane was closed as highway officers attended to the incident between Ashford and Maidstone, but it has since reopened.

Delays of up to 20 minutes were reported, but traffic flows are starting to return to normal.

Nobody was injured in the accident.
