Floral tributes have been paid to the man who died following a crash on the A1077 on Friday night.

The driver of a silver Vauxhall Vectra was travelling eastbound on the notorious stretch of road near Barrow-Upon-Humber at around 10pm on Friday (February 25).

The vehicle careered off the road on the long stretch between Barrow-Upon-Humber and Thornton Curtis before colliding with a tree.

The driver was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Many people brought bouquets of flowers to the site of the accident today to pay tribute to the man.
