Fourth national boxing champ for PEJ ABC at Development Championships – The Isle Of Thanet News

PEJ ABC Margate produced their fourth national boxing champion this weekend at the National Development Championships in Cannock.

Kian Hardy,15, won the junior title by unanimous points decision over Zain Mohammed from South Derby.

Troy Ledene,18, won silver at youth after his semi-final points win and Ella Cooper,15, won her semi-final bout on points but there was no bout for her in the final.

Bodhi Underwood, 16, won the Southern Counties youth title with two very good points wins but missed out in the quarter final by a poor decision.

Mario Michael, from PEJ ABC, said: “The coaching team is really proud of all the boxers who have worked so hard in preparation for this championship. They couldn’t have done anymore and we are really happy with the way they all boxed.

“We would like to thank PEJ Court Properties and Malwai Nijar for their continued help and support and Lindsay Pantelli and the Bike Shed for sponsoring our team.”

Sessions are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday – juniors 6pm-7pm, youths and seniors 7pm-9pm.
